City of Burnaby Eagel eco-sculpture at the 2009 Pacific National Exhibition, Vancouver British Columbia

As part of a public arts initiative in 2009 the City of Burnaby constructed a number of eco-sculptures throughout the city. This eagle sculpture, which was one of two that were contributed to the 2009 Pacific National Exhibition in Vancouver, uses a variet of plants and flowers that are set into a metal frame that is wrapped with filter fabric and filled with compacted soil.
